Privacy Policy & Content License Agreement

Binding Content License & Use Restrictions
This section is a legally binding contract between you and Pentest Ready. By purchasing, accessing, or using the course, its modules, lessons, assessment questions, mock interview content, explanations, or any other materials provided by Pentest Ready (the “Content”), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Content.
- Limited Personal License. Pentest Ready grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Content solely for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes — that is, to prepare yourself for penetration testing interviews. No other use is permitted.
- Prohibited Uses. You may not, directly or indirectly, whether for compensation or otherwise:
- Resell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, distribute, publish, or otherwise commercialize the Content or any part of it;
- Repackage, rebrand, or incorporate the Content into any other product, course, service, website, app, or offering;
- Share, post, upload, stream, or make the Content available to any other person, group, or the public (including sharing login credentials or download links);
- Use the Content to train, develop, or improve any artificial intelligence model, dataset, or competing product;
- Use the Content for any commercial purpose, including paid tutoring, coaching, bootcamps, or any paid preparation service;
- Scrape, bulk-download, copy, extract, or systematically store the Content;
- Create derivative works based on the Content; or
- Use the Content for any purpose other than your own personal learning.
- Ownership. All Content is owned by Pentest Ready and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. No title or ownership in the Content is transferred to you. You receive only the limited license described above.
- Enforcement & Termination. Any violation of this agreement is a material breach of contract and may also constitute copyright infringement. Upon any violation, Pentest Ready may immediately and without notice terminate your access, revoke your license, and pursue all available legal remedies, including claims for damages and injunctive relief.
- Acknowledgment. You acknowledge that the Content is the result of substantial investment and original authorship, that unauthorized use would cause irreparable harm to Pentest Ready, and that you are bound by these terms as a condition of your access.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile details you provide (such as your target role, experience level, and interview date). When you purchase access, we receive your order details from our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy), which may include your name, email, and transaction reference. We do not store your full card number or payment credentials — payment is processed securely by Lemon Squeezy.
We also collect anonymous usage analytics and funnel events (such as page views, readiness test starts, and checkout clicks) to measure and improve the platform. These events are not linked to your identity unless you are logged in.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize your interview preparation experience, including your readiness score and study plan;
- To grant and manage your paid access to the course;
- To send you transactional messages related to your account or purchase;
- To analyze and improve our content, features, and conversion;
- To enforce the Content License terms above and protect our intellectual property.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that process payments, hosting, and email delivery on our behalf, and where required by law. Your assessment answers, mock interview responses, and progress data are visible only to you and (for administrative purposes) authorized Pentest Ready administrators.
Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain your account and progress data for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at hello@pentestready.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
